About RAISE
RAISE is a Web-based instruction site for the Speed School
of Engineering of the University
of Louisville. RAISE provides online support for courses in
engineering, science, math, and technology.
- Who is responsible for RAISE?
- System Administrator - Dr.
Thomas G. Cleaver
- System Designer - Robert Toole
- What does it cost to take a RAISE class?
- RAISE courses are free to UofL students who have
registered for the course. There are no additional fees
for RAISE. Non UofL students may be allowed to view
courses as Guests.
- How do I register for a RAISE course?
- Ordinary University of Louisville registration for supported courses
grants automatic registration for RAISE.
- How does RAISE work?
- RAISE is designed as an adjunct to face-to-face classes,
but it may also be used for distance learning classes.
Instructors use RAISE to deliver course content to
students asynchronously -- that means anytime, anywhere
learning.
- What's it like to take a RAISE class?
- The best way to find out about this is to try it. Go back
to the RAISE
home page, click on Enter Classroom, and try out
ECE 220 as a Guest.
